Marine Weather Intelligence is a deeptech company based in Auray, Brittany, with roots in ocean racing. Founded in 2023 by Christian Dumard, one of the world's most renowned weather routers, and Basile Rochut, an AI engineer specialised in data and decision sciences, we share reliable weather intelligence with every maritime player, to help them make safer, more efficient decisions at sea in an increasingly complex environment.
We combine long-standing routing expertise with our own AI algorithms to deliver reliable forecasts, optimised routes and 24/7 monitoring. Through MWI Offshore Energies, MWI Towage & Heavy Transport, MWI Shipping and MWI Yachts, we offer one integrated suite of solutions: comprehensive for all, precise for each.
Our approach rests on two commitments. We are customer-focused: we co-develop our solutions with our clients, respond quickly and act as their co-pilot. We inform the decision, and the captain makes it. And we are evidence-based: scientific rigour and safety always come first.
